Cannibal Mécanique, 2017

Cannibal Mécanique is a performative installation incorporating analog modular sound composition, live broadcast, and choreography between the camera operator and the performing body. The live performance took place at Fridman Gallery on July 22, 2017.  The piece involves 6 operated camera stations w CRT monitors for individual signal feed, 2 moving bodies, 1 projection, an analog switch/mixing console, and recorded sound playback on custom lathe cut vinyl. The composition was released as a limited edition with In Context Music (NYC/Montreal).

Past performances at Museum of Art and Design as part of the Makers Biennial, and The Red Door featured movement by Kevin Lovelady, Renata Espinosa, Elisa Santiago, Mariangela Lopez, Joanne Hsieh, Alissa Besherwith mechanized camera system.
